My-selves.

SC 102 class this morning made me realize that I have many faces, many selves. I don’t know. Ma’am Joy’s question struck me. “How many faces or ‘selves’ or identities do you think you have?” So, I started counting.

1. My private self. That’s me when nobody’s around.
2. My herself.
3. My church self.
4. My UP self.
5. My ‘Xings’ self.
6. My ‘Plastick’ self.
7. My Dulaan self.
8. My UPWrite self.
9. My Boarding House self.
10. My Parents self.
11. My Relatives self.
12. My SugarCoatedNightmares self.
13. My MemeShirtsandMore self.
14. My friends of friends self.
15. My etc. self. Just because I’m already too lazy to mention all my other selves.

And please. Do not tell me that I am one heck of a pretentious little eff or anything. Ma’am Joy said that having many identities do not mean that you are lying to or deceiving other people. It’s called “Identity Management”. Almost all people have multiple selves and those who choose to have only one self can live with just that one self but there’s always gonna be that one point in their lives when they will meet people who would be offended with that one self that they have. Let’s face it, you can’t use that self anywhere you go.

And this is me blabbing because I do not have anything else to do. Just kidding. I have tons of things to do.

• Do Journ106 Report. (Visit DA, DOLE, DTI & DFA)
• Make one poem for DUPB’s Poetry Reading.
• Distribute sponsorship letters for BC130.
• Make Chapter 1 of my thesis proposal.
• Earn more money. HAHA.
• Eat & make self feel better.

I gotta go. I feel like I want to start fixing my thesis proposal tonight. And.. uh.. Fort’s scent is still on my hand. That.. guy. LOLKbye.
